This role’s purpose is to facilitate the customer service/technical requirements within the Ordermate team and ensure our customers are always looked after with the highest level of service in mind. 

Key Responsibilities of the role: 

  • Liaising with customers, stakeholders and staff regarding our customers' technical queries.
  • Focus on solving enquiries in the best interest of our customers and in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring customers are happy with the support provided 
  • Taking ownership of assigned issues and escalations.   
  • Documenting all customer interactions on our CRM System 
  • Working with the technical/service team and completing all staging of hardware/software, for on-site installations. 
  • Communicate with customers about upcoming installations and upgrades
  • Perform onsite installations to the highest quality and standards.

About You:

  • You love talking to people, are customer focused, friendly and accommodating.
  • Have patience and empathy when dealing with customers.
  • Excellent firsthand knowledge of networking skills including TCP/IP, ADSL, WIFI & VPN.
  • Demonstrated experience building and setting up PC’s and networks.
  • 1-2 years working in a similar industry and/or in a similar role for a competitor.
  • Be able to juggle several responsibilities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP/Vista, Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Have a thirst for knowledge.
  • Hospitality experience and/or exposure would be highly regarded
