Work as a Technical Design Engineer with an established organisation based out of Western suburbs.
Responsibilities and Skills required include:
- Prepare computer generated design plans, which include road construction, drainage, traffic treatments, parking, footpaths, parks and sporting facilities in accordance with the organisation's standards and codes of practice.
- Project manage projects to ensure all approvals and consultation is completed for delivery of design projects.
- Prepare engineering computations, estimates and contract specifications for infrastructure projects in accordance with engineering standards and codes of practice.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, or a lesser formal qualification with extensive relevant experience.
- Ability to design civil projects including, footpaths, TMDs and stormwater.
- Understanding of engineering design and construction principles and techniques in relation to a local government environment.
- Experience in design of civil engineering projects using computer design software.
- Experience in the use of computer design and drafting software as well as Microsoft Office particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
- Current valid Victorian Driver's licence.
