This role is ideal for an experienced workers compensation professional with good knowledge of the NSW legislation looking to expand their skills and grow their career.
As the Technical Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert working within a team and providing support to case managers with all aspects of technical claims management working within the SME segment. As this is a newly created team you will enjoy being part of a growing team and make an impact as the business expands its operations.
This is a permanent full-time role with the option to work from home 3 days and 2 days in the Macquarie Park office with free onsite parking.
The Role:
- Providing training, coaching and mentoring to the case manager with technical claims management
- Assist the Case Manager in conducting the ongoing ‘risk assessment’ and segmentation of claims through case conference process.
- Reviewing and providing feedback about current claims management practices, legislative changes, and procedures ensuring emerging trends are identified and managed.
- Developing strategic initiatives and procedures to ensure all service, performance, and compliance measures are achieved.
- Building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Experience in managing relationships and competing stakeholder priorities
