  • Consult with operational managers to plan maintenance schedules and labour requirements

  • Inventory control of stores and spare parts and, where authorised, conduct negotiations with suppliers

  • An understanding of various mechanical equipment and systems including diesel engines, power generation, dynamic positioning, tug propulsion systems and hydraulics

  • The flexibility to travel between our ports as required, to meet operational demands

If you share our excitement for the journey ahead and would like to work with leaders in the industry, we can’t wait to hear from you! To apply, click on the Apply button to be redirected to the job vacancy on the Careers at Svitzer website. Applications must be received by close of business Friday 24 May 2024 – please note we do not accept applications received via e-mail.

We are proud of our diversity and see it as a genuine source of strength for building high performing teams.

At Svitzer we are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles, and we are excited about hearing from you!
