Green Light is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead and System engineer with the ability to work in a demanding environment with an enthusiastic sense of customer support, you will need to communicate and coordinate with clients as well as other technology groups in a complex and highly governed environment.
The role will involve:
· Provide Technical leadership for the team.
· Delivery of technical support for the client/server environment
· Ensure timely resolution of teams tickets against SLA
· Ensure backups and disaster recovery meet requirements
· Ensure Patching and upgrades meet the clients requirements against the contracted SLA's
· Liaise with service providers to investigate and resolve issues with supported infrastructure and applications
· Mentoring of staff and enabling them to succeed.
What will make you successful in this role?
· Ability to communicate often complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
· Experience support Windows Server including DNS, AD, Group Policy, Print Management, File Services, DHCP
· Experience in RedHatLinux systems
· Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare
· Experience with enterprise storage such as NetApp.
· Experience with Data protection technologies such as Veeam, Commvault
· Experience with patching Windows systems via MECM
· Understanding of AzureAWS and cloud concepts
· PowerShell Scripting for automation
· Ability to mentor staff
· Highly Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), VM Ware Certified Professional (VCP))
