Technical Writer Wanted Job Title: Technical Writer We are currently seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join a state organisation. As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in supporting their Communication Competence Framework by developing, editing, and testing work instructions and training materials. Your ability to interpret technical concepts and information into easily understandable documentation will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Communications staff and subject matter experts to determine documentation requirements and clarify technical concepts Lead, edit, write, review, and test high-quality technical work instructions and training documentation Contribute technical expertise and knowledge to support engineering, design, maintenance, and commissioning processes Develop and maintain the branch's-controlled documentation standards Drive continuous improvement and compliance of performance across the branch by participating in working groups and meetings Increase branch awareness of document hierarchy and establish clear document interfaces to ensure accuracy Compile reports related to branch procedures and other documents, ensuring compliance with standards Requirements: Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills Knowledge of document control procedures and standards Familiarity with engineering, design, and maintenance processes is a plus Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
