A Technician Specialist job in Melbourne, FL is available through Belcan. In this role you will analyze the operation of all BK Technologies Land Mobile Radio equipment, determine the root cause of the fault and provide instruction to the repair technicians. To be considered for this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma and 2+ years of hands on experience.
Technician Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Electronics Technician responsible for land mobile radio equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Diagnose technical faults, to the board level, and/or issues with radios systems supported by the BK Technologies Customer Service Department.
- Report repair activities required to bring the radio back to operation.
- Assist with the maintenance of tracking paperwork and accountability of radio.
- Inspect materials, products or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Able to provide technical support over the phone as needed; resolve customer complaints or answer customer"s questions.
- All tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Technician Specialist Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of experience-or equivalent education / technical training
- Strong Excel, Access, MS Word, Power Point, Epicor
- Knowledge of test equipment and tools such as circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
- Good analytical skills
- Very detail-oriented, accurate and organized
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Confidentiality and time management
