AddressSeeking a passionate Secondary Teacher to join a dynamic team in an Autism-friendly setting. Your role will involve providing a framework for students on the Autism Spectrum to access the Australian Curriculum through unique support and individualised learning programs.
If you are passionate about creating social, educational, and vocational pathways for students on the Autism Spectrum, we want to hear from you. Experience in Food Technology and/or Digital Technology is advantageous.
This is an impactful role supporting diverse learners in a collaborative team environment, based on a beautiful campus located on the Gold Coast.

In this role, you will:
- Develop, plan, implement and evaluate curriculum and teaching plans, including Christian
- Education, with lessons designed to meet the differentiated learning needs of the students,
- following the Australian Curriculum.
- Utilise your behaviour management experience to provide a safe and respectful learning
- environment for students on the Autism Spectrum
- Provide engaging and differentiated lessons that support both learning and sensory needs
- Work in a team of educators that are passionate about their role in the lives of these students
The successful candidate will have:
- Australian curriculum planning, development, implementation and evaluation experience in
- high school
- Experience and a passion for working with students with additional needs
- A relevant teaching qualification, additional qualifications in learning support or Autism desired
- Experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum
- Innovative and flexible approach to education, with a Christ centred lens for student wellbeing
- You hold full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as
- a Teacher in Queensland
- Ideally have experience with students with social-emotional challenges and knowledge of the
- senior school system
- Be passionate about facilitating and supporting student education pathways
- Be a practicing Christian who works to uphold the Christian ethos of the College
