About Us:

J.A. Cabling Pty Ltd is a proprietary company that has been operating in the Telco Industry since 2007 conducting installation & maintenance on both Telstra & NBN Networks. General day-to-day works consist of but not limited to the installation of Aerial & Underground fiber Optic Cable, Structured cabling, & HFC.  This will also include TV Antenna installation service and repair. The company also undertakes contract work for jointing, terminating, and repairing copper and fiber optic telecommunications cables in underground pipes and overhead systems.

We're seeking an experienced Cabler to join our team and lead the way in cable installations and services. If you're a cable enthusiast with the required skills and a drive for excellence, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cable installation, maintenance, and repair projects with a deep understanding of cable types, connectors, and installation techniques.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met or exceeded.
• Perform thorough cable testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to quickly identify and resolve connectivity issues.
• Design efficient and organized cable layouts to optimize performance and aesthetics.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of cable-related activities for accurate reference.
• Stay informed about industry advancements to bring innovative ideas to enhance our projects and services.

Required Skills:

• Proven track record as a Cable Technician, demonstrating leadership in complex cable projects.
• In-depth knowledge of cable types, connectors, and their practical applications.
• Proficiency in advanced cable testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address intricate connectivity issues.
• Keen attention to detail, ensuring precision and high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site work.
• Current Open ACMA license
• Current WAH
• Current Power Awareness

Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Telecommunication or at least 2 years of apprenticeship in a similar field
• At least 3 years working experience is required

Salary:

• $80,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation per annum
