About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Telesales Manager to continue the successful growth of our portfolio of United Card customers. You will be responsible for acquiring new business by leading a team of Telesales BDMs and maximising the performance of United’s external sales acquisition channels. 

Our ideal candidate is an energetic, motivated, and collaborative professional who can join a supportive team that strives for excellence. You will have previous experience in an in-house telesales function, with a focus on leading the team to achieve consistent results. 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the team’s targets are met, including weekly call metrics and approved card numbers
  • Manage all outbound leads.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and KPI's 
  • Meet all call objective targets set in relation to inbound and outbound call requirements.
  • Log & manage all Sales Prospects into the CRM database at point of contact.
  • Work closely with the General Manager, Card and Credit & Customer Solutions Manager.

About You:

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Leadership of a sales team, preferably in fuels, credit card or associated industry
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills;
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational and time management skills;
  • Proficient in MS Office with intermediate Excel skills
  • Ability to meet daily call and acquisition targets 
  • Ability to deal with difficult calls and escalations where needed
