Extremely rare 3 month temp role commencing on Monday 20th May – are you ready to start work immediately?

Join one of the globes most iconic brands and support the finance team with a broad range of cash and payment transactions from their business partners.

This role will be based in the office 2-3 days per week, whilst the remaining days can be worked from home. This is a casual contract role for 3 months and will enable you to further develop your skills within a well branded organisation. 
The team are very close knit, friendly and lovely to work with. You’ll definitely be welcomed in like family and be able to form new work friendships during your assignment. 

The role must start on Monday 20th May and they are only able to consider candidates who can commit to full time hours (5 days per week). Unfortunately this role cannot be offered on a part-time basis.

What does the role entail?

  • Matching sales transactions across the internal systems and checking 3rd party sales reports from delivery and payment partners.
  • Ensuring cash received by the bank for business sales has been correctly accounted.
  • Following up various business units and the bank regarding any discrepencies.
  • Working with the IT department regarding any issues with eftpos hardward (pin pads etc).
  • Reviewing variances posted to the P&L, communicating any errors or variances to leaders.
  • General finance and administative duties as required by the Financial Accountant.

What do you need to ensure you’ll be successful?

  • Prior experience in finance and or accounting is essential so you can hit the ground running.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written & verbal) are essential, along with the ability to liaise with senior management and external stateholders.
  • Ability to self manage, drive your own day and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ability to think outside of the box in terms of identifying risks and escalating for action.
  • High level of personal integrity and confidentiality.
  • Experience with an integrated accounting system (they use JD Edwards) is essential coupled with intermediate to advanced Excel and quick keyboarding skills.
