Our high expectations and quality, innovative teaching and learning programs support students to develop as motivated, confident learners who can apply their understandings and skills in a range of contexts.We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Systems Lead to join our engaging and dynamic team.The IT Team Leader will lead the implementation, delivery and monitoring of policies and practices that ensure operational effectiveness and sustainability of the school's IT systems. The IT Team Leader will ensure the operational efficiency of the school’s IT systems by leading the planning, management and coordination of programs that will improve the academic, creative and technical skills of students and staff and the business operations of the school. The IT Team Leader will liaise with and develop positive relations with the IT managers of other schools in order to build expertise and continuous improvement models.The IT Team Leader is responsible for the line management of a group of non-teaching staff. The incumbent promotes and maintains a high-performance, professional and supportive culture within the team, encourages professional development, best practice and improvement to achieve site priorities.What you will bring:
- Relevant qualifications in Computing
- Relevant qualifications in Customer Service and/or Management
- High level ability to show initiative, manage change, analyse and solve problems, work effectively and lead a team.
- High level skills in establishing, maintaining and improving network computing systems that support the achievement of school priorities and consider function and security issues.
- High level, proven experience to self-direct and work collaboratively to promote and develop high functioning teams, manage conflict, coach, and lead staff in a diverse organisation congruently with the school’s values, vision, and culture.
- Proven experience in identifying and incorporating innovative solutions and a variety of software and operating systems that improve users’ experience and efficiencies.
- High level knowledge of Windows server, Backup Systems, Windows and IOS, and management of wireless network and software or ability to learn.
- Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to promoting and creating a safe and inclusive work environment, and the legislative requirements of equal Opportunity and Work Health and Safety legislation.
