Our client provides housing support to vulnerable individuals. A rare opportunity has come up to join this organisation on an ongoing temporary basis. As the Tenancy Manager, you will be the primary contact for the tenants, and you will be coordinating and delivering a client focused service to tenants and to oversee the day-to-day management of the residential tenancies. You will also be the primary contact for Agents/ Owners of properties. You will need to be able to establish and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders, including real estate agents, property owners, tenants and support services.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated tenancy management experience utilising Property and Tenancy Management software (preferably Console).
- Understanding of the needs of families who experience chronic homelessness.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Sound knowledge of RTA legislation.
- Excellent dispute resolution skills.
- High degree of initiative and able to work well in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong analytical ability.
- Confidence and skill in working with information technology systems.
- Experience in partnering with homeless support services. (desirable)
- Tertiary qualifications in Tenancy Management - Certificate 4 in Property Management (desirable).
- Policy, procedural and protocol development experience (desirable).
- Drivers licence.
- Blue card, or the ability to obtain one.
