GC Tennis was established on 05 June 2020, led by Chen GU who thrives on his lifelong tennis passion. It unites people through tennis joy, prioritizing inclusive coaching with effective communication.
It is our mission to bring joy and passion, as we embrace diversity and multiculture as we gather families and friends sharing the same passion and to be part of tennis society experiencing the specialness of the sports.
We are seeking committed and enthusiastic Tennis Coaches. The successful applicants will have a passion for health and physical activity and the ability to establish and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider community.
The candidate is expected to perform the following:
· Coaching and instructing sportsperson to develop abilities
· Developing play patterns by analysing game progress to improve various skills in tennis.
· Trains and instructs students by analysing performances and developing abilities.
· Assessing student’s tennis skills to identify the areas they need to improve
· Conducting individual and group tennis sessions.
· Motivates students and supervises practice sessions
· Developing suitable training programs for students and players based on their age, objectives, and individual skillsets.
· Developing innovative ways to assist beginner or younger students in learning and remembering the rules of the game.
· Identifying the learning styles that work best for each student and adjusting all coaching methods accordingly.
· Providing a secure and productive learning environment for students.
· Scheduling meetings with students and players to discuss their progress.
· Coordinates and liaising with other officials to interpret and enforce rules relating to sport
· Attending students matches, competitions, and tournaments as needed.
Successful applicants will need to demonstrate the following:
· Relevant qualification and/or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Tennis coaching
· ATPCA certificate
· Competent time and organisational skills
