Test Analyst

• 12 month contract with a view to extend|Hybrid role
• Experience in testing and QA on data migration project
• Experience in UAT coordination|AU Citizenship or Permanent residency

Our client is looking for Test Analyst with experience in Testing and Quality Assurance to work on a data migration project. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of data while data migration process. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and development of test plans and cases, crafting test data to facilitate scenario execution, and collaborating closely with the development team and stakeholders.

--Must hold an Australian Citizenship or Permanent residency

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Create and maintain test data sets to support the execution of test scenarios.
• Execute test scenarios to identify and address data-related issues.
• Utilize Confluence/JIRA for bug tracking and Xray for developing and managing test cases.
• Document test results, raise defects, and conduct defect triage
• Maintain and create end-to-end test cases
• Creation and management of test data
• Creating and maintaining re-usable regression/end to End test suite/cases
• Testing data quality

Key Skills Required:

• Strong manual testing experience, showcasing a strong foundation in testing methodologies.
• Working knowledge of test phases including system testing, system integration testing, and UAT.
• Experience working on test planning, test approach and test summary report.
• experience in testing as part of a Scrum team, including requirements engineering, development of test cases based on the acceptance criteria
• Experience in UAT planning and coordination, defect triage
• Proficiency in handling complex data sets and identifying anomalies.
• Previous use of Confluence/JIRA for bug tracking and Xray for developing and managing test cases
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong experience testing as part of a Scrum team.
• Any experience in automated testing using Java, Cucumber, Selenium - good to have
