The Opportunity

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking to join a motivated and dynamic workplace?

Capital Prints is in search of awesome individual to join our growing team as a Textile & Garment Technician. As the Textile & Garment Technician you will take on the critical role of supporting our production team in coordinating the finishing and stock quality control in conjunction with our warehouse manager.

We have opportunities for casual, short term and full time work.
 

Role & Responsibilities

In the role of Textile & Garment Technician at Capital Prints, your primary responsibilities will encompass:

1. Order Finishing and Completion - Finalise decorated products with careful finishing practiced, along with thread/backing trimming, steaming and boxing up after embroidery and printing production has been completed.

2. Quality Control - Taking control of Capital Prints customer experience expectations for quality control and order receiving

3. Stock Management - Stock preparation for production, exposure to garment composition fundamentals and working closely with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate stock positioning

4. Production Support - The opportunity to learn the ways of embroidery and printing production and supporting the production coordinators in the basics of machine function.

An ideal Textile & Garment Technician at Capital Prints will be a motivated individual with high attention to detail mindset. Specifically, you should possess or exhibit the following:

While previous experience with garment embroidery and/or printing or textile handling specifically is highly valued, it is not essential.
