**Theatre Nurse**
As a Theatre Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment is sterile and functional.
- Assisting surgeons and anaesthetists during surgical procedures.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and providing immediate post-operative care.
- Collaborating with other health care professionals to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe and clean environment in the operating room.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing
- AHPRA registered
- Demonstrated strong clinical skills
- BLS
- Full working rights within Australia
- Valid Police Check
- Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
- Cultural competency
Desirable Skills
- Recovery experience
- Venepuncture and cannulation experience
- Holds resus cert
