If so, I have an opportunity for you: A contract has just landed on my desk for the Adelaide network and I am looking for someone with your expertise.
This role requires you to work autonomously to get through Third party assessments: Do you have the following:
- Understanding of Cybersecurity Principles: Knowledge of security frameworks, threat models, controls, and best practices in cybersecurity.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with IT systems, cloud service models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS etc), networks, and software to understand the technical aspects of the solution/scenario being assessed.
- Risk Analysis: Experience in identifying and evaluating risks based on the potential impact and likelihood of threats.
- Gap Analysis: Ability to compare a solution or design to a control framework or standard and identify and assess gaps.
- Pragmatism: Sensible approach focusing on actionable and cost-effective solutions.
- Communication: Skills to effectively communicate risk findings and recommendations to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Awareness of relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to cybersecurity in the Insurance industry.
- Third-Party Assessment: Experience in evaluating the security posture of third-party vendors and their compliance with security requirements.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks and processes related to assessment, record keeping and reporting.
- Enablement Mindset: Positive and creative approach to enabling business outcomes and managing risk.
