As our Threatened Species Program Adviser (Terrestrial Ecosystems) your focus will be to ensure the protection, management and enhancement of environmental assets and values on both public and private lands in the beautiful Redlands Coast.
Guided by our Values, you will:
- Provide high level advice to internal and external stakeholders on environmental and natural area matters, including the interpretation and analysis of relevant legislation, polices, strategies, plans, research and reports.
- Lead, manage and/or coordinate programs and activities that implement Council's corporate direction for a Natural Environment in the Redland Coast.
- Develop clear and comprehensive documentation that effectively translate into corporate policies, guidelines, procedures and work instructions processes.

- Has strong technical knowledge and an understanding of contemporary matters relevant to environmental and natural area management.
- Can demonstrate highly developed skills and strong understanding in, evaluation and interpretation of environmental and natural area management legislation, policy, plans, research and reports.
- Has achievement in taking a lead role in the critical examination and analysis of environmental and natural area management matters.
- Has highly developed communication, interpersonal, consultation, negotiation and influence skills with the ability to communicate using various methods to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

Eligibility
- You'll have a tertiary qualification in environmental management or related field
- You'll have a C Class Driver's License
- To be eligible for employment, applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.
