Are you passionate about your community? About the role We are seeking a dedicated Thrift Shop Assistant Manager!

You will assist the Thrift Shop Manager to lead and develop the stores to maximise profits and links between Community Support Services, wider community and Corps. Responsibilities include Maximise sales and revenue through processing of donations to the store Implement stock rotation and stock management processes to esnure optimal store stock levels are maintained to maximize sales and revenue Deliver excellence in customer service by responding to customer needs, training staff in best practice customer service Provide training, guidance, direction and feedback to all volunteers Lead safe workplace through the ongoing promotion of work health and safety standards Ensure the cleaning and maintenance of store and facilities are upheld This is a permanent part-time position, 19 hours per week, based in Swan Hill, VIC.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the General Retail Award Level 4. What you will have Certificate in Retail Operations / Diploma of Business (desirable) Certificate level qualification in Retail Management (desirable) Experience in team management (essential) Merchandising and store presentation skills Experience managing stock Retail management experience (highly desirable) Experience working and managing volunteers preferred Basic working knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel Physical ability to safely sit, stand, walk regularly and for long periods of time Physical ability to push, pull, lift, carry items up to 10 kilos in weight Physical ability to climb ladders A current VIC Driver's Licence Benefits working at
