The Thrift Shop Supervisor oversees and the operations of the shop, reporting to the Store Manager, ensuring quality customer service, diligence in cash handling, sorting of donated goods, pricing and maintaining the general appearance and upkeep of the shop. Responsibilities include Overseeing and supervising thrift shop activities Ensuring stock is displayed in accordance with Thrift Shop guidelines and in-store signage is clear and professional Greeting all customers in a warm and inviting manner. Offering assistance and advice on selections Guiding, managing and mentoring volunteers in their work practices, ensuring their activity is consistent with

The Salvation Army mission and values. Working with The Store Manager to achieve set agreed monthly budget

This is a Casual position, based in Port Lincoln, SA. Salary and conditions are in accordance with General Retail Employee Lvl 4.

What you will have Proven experience in supervisory role. Demonstrated people skills with an emphasis on volunteers and the community. Experience in mentoring/training Volunteers Valid SA Employee
