The Harvest Store is a leading fresh produce store in South Morang with over 40 years of experience in providing locals with a large range of fresh fruit, vegetables & groceries, sourced from local farmers & growers.
We are seeking Shop Floor Assistants & Till Operators who are passionate, enthusiastic, driven and reliable with a positive can-do attitude to join our growing team. We have both full-time & part-time opportunities available.
About the role – Shop Floor Assistant:
- Store preparation, which includes merchandising, cutting & wrapping.
- Pack up of store, which includes refrigerating stock, prep for the next day & general cleaning.
- Providing a high level of customer service by greeting our customers with a smile and helping them with their selections.
- Maintaining excellent store presentation by maintaining a fully stocked store.
- Management of stock by stringently ensuring stock is rotated and kept fresh.
- Keeping up to date with product information.
About the role – Till Operator:
- Providing a high level of customer service by greeting our customers with a smile and helping them with their selections.
- Maintaining excellent store presentation by maintaining a grocery displays.
- Management of grocery stock, ensuring stock is rotated and kept fresh.
- Pack up of store, which includes refrigerating stock, prep for the next day & general cleaning.
- Keeping up to date with product information.
Skills & Experience:
- Fruit & vegetable experience with minimum 1-year experience in similar role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual and honest.
- Have a positive, can do attitude, along with going above & beyond.
- Be able to work a rotating roster, including early mornings and both weekday & weekend shifts.
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment and at times, under pressure.
