Exciting traineeship opportunity in Torrensville. We are eager to hear from you if you have an interest in timber & learning about the building materials industry!

Entry level opportunity with structured learning and on the job experience in Torrensville to secure a future career. Gain on the job experience while completing a Certificate III in Timber Building Product Supply, a nationally recognised qualification. 

Do you have an interest in the trades or construction industries but want to work more “behind the scenes”? Through the traineeship you’ll see yourself working with a reputable building materials supplier in a trade centre environment. They would love to meet with people who are reliable and love to learn (especially about building materials!). This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates who have little to no experience but have a keen interest in Building Products.

Learning about hardware and building supplies, assisting customers with timber selection, fulfilling orders, assisting with loading/unloading deliveries and much more is what your day-to-day would look like.
 
What's involved?
During the training contact duration you get to the learn the following:

  • Stock control and management
  • Pick, packing and dispatch of stock
  • Preparing customer orders
  • Assisting on the order desk
  • Contribute to achieving team objectives
