Form of workCivardi Furniture is an Australian joinery manufacturer that specialises in high end custom commercial and residential fitouts. We are currently working on some of Sydney's most high profile, complex joinery projects like the One Sydney Harbour fitout at Barangaroo.
We operate out of our purpose built facility at Rydalmere, featuring state of the art machinery and tools, spacious and organised workspaces and great staff amenities. We have invested in our machining area, and have recently commissioned a new 5-axis Homag CNC along with our TLF robotic board store and our other Homag machines including CNCs, beam saw and edgebander.
Due to an increase in work volume, we have an opportunity to add Timber Machinists to our machining area. Our Machinists run and program our Homag CNC machines.
We are looking for candidates who:
- are experienced qualified machinists or have strong equivalent experience in timber CNC machining and programming. Any experience with Homag machines and WoodWOP would be a significant advantage.
- work well in a team but are also able to work with minimal supervision
- are proactive, with good problem solving and communication skills
- have solid computer skills
Alternatively, we are interested in interviewing candidates with some experience operating CNC machines who are willing to learn programming and more detailed timber machining. We are also happy to receive applications from candidates who have some previous joinery CAD-based drafting experience who are looking for a change to a hands on role.
We are open to meeting CNC Machinists of all levels so remuneration is flexible depending on experience.
