AddressTimber window Joiner maker/ CNC operator role
We are a dynamic Timber window manufacturing business with our joinery works /factory based in Oakleigh. We specialise in heritage style Solid timber window and doors, customised replacements, for commercial and domestic projects.
An exciting opportunity exists for the successful applicant to work in a diverse role to utilise and develop your specialised skills in this joinery work.
The position(s) available is full time and for immediate commencement following an interview process.
This role is based in our workshop in Oakleigh. We have modern machinery including Biesse 5 axis cnc router
The usual hours required for the job is 7-3.30 pm Monday to Friday with overtime available,
The job is based on 38-hour work week with monthly rdo.

Skills and Experience
- Previous wood working experience using traditional wood machinery and assembling timber windows and doors. Joiner or wood machinist qualifications desirable
- You will have a desire to broaden your skills to develop a Good working knowledge of CNC machining operation and maintenance in timber production environment ( or an interest to develop these skills)
- Some Glass handling experience desirable.
- Attention to detail and ability to problem solve and show initiative
- Ability to work self directed and as part of team
Job description
Diverse role with plenty of variety , working as part of our team the Candidate will be able to machine Solid timber from cutting sheets and accurately process materials through to completed product(windows and doors)
Assembly of machined components finishing and fitting hardware is required
You will have the ability and competency to operate various timber machinery.
Experience operating CNC or Programming in Biesse works a bonus
