About the role:
- Based at our Glen Forbes Plant
- Permanent, full-time role
- Training provided for those without experience driving a Tipper Truck & Trailer.
- Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring that the operation and driving of the Truck & Trailer is done in a manner which promotes quality and reliability.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering Aggregates to our concrete plants and major projects, and
- Providing high level customer service
- Complete pre-start checks and daily cleaning of the Truck & Trailer.
- Operating the vehicle in a safe manner & comply with safety policies
- Loading and unloading of aggregates
- Providing feedback to the operations & business regarding customer experience
- Operate in accordance with traffic regulations both on and off the road.
About you:
- Hold a HC (Heavy Combination) licence with clear driving history
- Experience driving heavy combination vehicles.
- A strong commitment to safety, health & environmental responsibilities
- Ability to deliver our product to plants efficiently, and safely
- A strong customer service focus
- Well-developed communication skills
- Successfully complete police/background checks, as well as a full medical with drug & alcohol screening
- You will be required to successfully complete a driving assessment, facilitated by one of our Driver Assessors
