5/2 Roster (5 days on, 2 days off)

About the Role
In conjunction with our partner Rio Tinto, WorkPac are excited to present this unique opportunity for experienced Station Hands/Ringers to work at Rio Tinto's iconic Pastoral Stations, Hamersley Station, Rocklea Station & Juna Downs.
Collectively, these stations stretch across approximately 770,000 hectares in the heart of Western Australia's breathtaking Pilbara Region. These stations are in close proximity to Tom Price, Paraburdoo and Newman respectively, nestled either side of the beautiful Karijini National Park and 3 hour drive to the coast of Karratha.7,500 head of cattle. Breed of cattle is Droughtmaster
You will be required to:
Participate in the mustering and processing of livestock by vehicle and motorbike
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of farm infrastructure, including fencing, gates and water troughs, to ensure they are in good working condition
Operate and maintain machinery and equipment safely for various tasks including land management and animal transportation
About you
To succeed in this role, you will require:
2+ years hands on experience within the Agricultural, Cattle & Pastoral Industry
Demonstrated experience in mustering and processing cattle
Sound knowledge and skills relating to vehicle, plant, fencing, water points
Demonstrated previous experience operating 4WD's and Motorbikes
Desirable but not essential - experience operating Trucks, Loaders, Bobcat, Forklift
Current manual drivers license
Able to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical including drug and alcohol testing
