Are you passionate about building & construction and developing lasting relationships? We're seeking a driven and dynamic Trade Account Manager to join our successful team at Clennett’s Mitre 10. You can be based out of either our large Glenorchy site (preferred) or our Head Office site at Kingston. The role itself will have a focus on our larger commercial builders and construction partners.
As an industry leader, we're dedicated to providing top-quality timber & building products to our customers whilst developing strong relationships and customer loyalty.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Nurture and expand our network of Trade Accounts by fostering strong relationships and offering tailored solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment, from product selection to delivery
- Understand customer needs and industry trends to provide insightful product recommendations and technical guidance
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of sales strategies to achieve growth targets
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform product development and market positioning
About You:
- 5 + years in sales or building industry
- Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
- Strong understanding of construction materials and product applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time role. The successful candidate will be offered a salary package (including a fully maintained vehicle) based on relevant skills and experience. If successful you will also be subject to a pre-employment medical reference checking and a three-month probationary period.
