An opportunity has arisen for a Trade Assistant all rounder to join our new fabrication department based in Kewdale! It's an exciting time to join MineARC as we have multiple and varied projects on the go and are expanding our business.
The Role:
- Prepare surfaces for coating
- Operate machinery in the workshop and use of basic power tools
- Operate equipment for batch oven powder coating system
- Assist with paint and blast
- Work autonomously and in a team in a workshop environment.
- Ensure that the surrounding work area and workshops are maintained in a clean and safe state
- Equipment maintenance
- 7:30am - 4pm Monday to Friday
About you:
- C Class Australian Drivers Licence
- Experience in either Spary Painting, Blasting or Powder Coating would be advantageous but is not essential
- Forklift Ticket is essential
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- The ability to use initiative when required and take ownership of assigned tasks through to completion
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Comfortable using power tools and learning new machinery
