AddressOur client, an environmental and network services company, are looking for 2 x Trade Assistants to join their team. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8–10-hour shifts.
This is a consistent, casual full-time position with a strong possibility of transitioning into a permanent position within 6-12 months of starting.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Enter confined spaces and pipes through a small hatch
- Work with piping, various tools, equipment and machinery
- Operating pipe CCTV equipment
- Perform basic maintenance and inspection of water and waste servicing stations
- Driving of company vehicles
- General labouring duties
Skills and experience you need to be successful for this role:
- No direct experience is necessary, although experience in any of the following fields would be highly regarded: waste management, pipe laying, labourer, tradesman, construction, maintenance, landscaper, plumber
- A current White Card
- A current driver's licence is essential (a MR or HR licence would be very highly regarded)
- High attention to detail
- A positive attitude
- A strong work ethic and strong reliability
- *PLEASE NOTE: Applicants will be required to undertake a full medical assessment; drug screening and show evidence of or ability to obtain vaccinations for Hep A, Hep B and Tetanus to be eligible for this role. (This will all be organised for you at no expense of your own).
