As a result of this recent growth, we have a permanent opportunity for a motivated and mechanically minded Trade Assistant to join our New Machines Mining Department located in South Guildford.
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, as a Trade Assistant you will be responsible for working alongside a group of dedicated trades peoples who are assembling & delivering high quality new mobile mining equipment to our customer base which includes various mining companies across WA. The successful applicant will also undertake general house cleaning duties of the work area to ensure a safe work environment for all.
Roster: 5/2 (Monday to Friday) - 10.5 hour shifts.
To be successful the following is required:
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant in the mining (or similar) industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
- Accredited Forklift ticket or willing to obtain.
- HR Licence seen as highly desirable.
- Be well aligned and exhibit Westrac's SPARC values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer.
