Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Trade Assistant CJD wants onboard will be no stranger to the Construction Machinery industry - and would love to get involved with DIESEL and EMOBILITY gear! Together with our very knowledgeable and experienced team of tradies, you will spend your days getting your hands dirty working on VOLVO and SDLG Construction Equipment! A pivotal role within the Sydney CJD team and business, you will bring a strong focus on all things safety, a great attitude and a commitment to getting the job done!
A day in the life:
- Fitting these TOP BRAND machines with bull bars, guards, additional lighting and much more!
- Using your keen eye to inspect equipment pre-delivery in accordance with the important stuff.
- Supporting your team with the servicing and repair of mechanical equipment and general maintenance on the tools and workshop.
- Completing compliance documents and records using handwriting and terminology we all can understand.
- Washing and detailing the trucks and machinery.
What you need to get the job done:
- Able to keep a safe working environment for you and your work mates.
- Bring along your previous automotive Trade Assistant experience.
- HR and forklift tickets – although not a deal breaker!
- Able to pass a medical & drug and alcohol test.
- Aussie working rights.
