Tecside are seeking a Trade Cabinet Makers or experienced furniture assemblers to join an Australian family owed, furniture company based in Emu plains. Providing over 20 years of experience in handcrafting, manufacturing, and specialised design in supply of furniture to the aged care and Health Care sector.
This is a great opening to extend your skills and take pride in your craftsmanship work along with a long-term employment opportunity. This position includes a Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, Renumeration starting from $32 -$40 + per hour.
The Role and responsibilities:
- Assisting and assembly of creating cabinetry and furniture
- Use in general hand and power tools.
- Assistance with inventory management and quality control
- Collaborate and work teams to achieve optimal production output.
- Assembly in furniture working in factory and site installations.
- Maintain an organised workshop and safe work environment.
- Running workshop machinery, assembling, and sanding production work.
- Read plans and blueprints to ensure quality production.
- Working with existing portfolio
- Custom building and design in timber trade.
- Working on existing portfolios as well as new projects.
About you:
- Experience in cabinet making, furniture assembly, or in woodworks.
- Cabinet making or joinery qualification - desirable.
- Previous warehouse/ factory/ workshop experience - desirable
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit & experience in lifting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn and work on range of projects.
