As a Trade CentreShowroom Representative and Warehouse Assistant at QA Trade Centre, you will play a pivotal role in assisting customers and tradies find the suitable materials for their projects. Whether it's a professional tradesperson seeking materials for a commercial project or a homeowner embarking on a DIY home improvement endeavour, you'll be there to provide expertise, guidance, and exceptional service.
As a Warehouse Assistant at QA Trade Centre, you will play an essential role in the efficient operation of our Trade Centre. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving inventory from suppliers, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the timely dispatch of orders to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing them with information about our various products and their applications.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products, their features, benefits, and applications. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and new arrivals to provide expert advice to customers.
- Consultative Sales: Listen to customers' needs and preferences and offer tailored recommendations to help them make informed decisions. Provide pricing, quotes, and assist in the selection process.
- Sample and Display Maintenance: Keep the showroom displays organized, clean, and attractive. Ensure that products are readily available and in excellent condition.
- Order Processing: Assist customers with order placement, ensuring accurate product selection, quantities, and delivery schedules. Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships by following up on orders, addressing any concerns, and providing excellent post-sale support.
- Technical Support: Offer guidance on installation methods, maintenance, and care of tiles and related products. Collaborate with customers to resolve any issues or challenges they may encounter.
- Achieving Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience, preferably in the tile, flooring, or home improvement industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically capable and able to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent product knowledge and a willingness to learn about new products.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
- Proficient with basic computer software and point-of-sale systems.
