Trade Counter Team Member I Mitre 10 - Wallington

Based at our Wallington Trade Centre, this position will suit a motivated individual with a strong attention to detail, who is customer focused and team orientated.

What will you be doing?

• Customer service and processing sales
• Handle trade queries and sales
• Providing advice and information on products
• Processing and following up on customer orders
• Answering phone enquiries
• Some manual handling required
• Undertaking general trade yard duties
• Maintaining a clean and well-presented store

This is a full time Monday - Friday role and the successful candidate will be offered a permanent ongoing position with the opportunity to build a rewarding career. Hours are generally 9.30am to 5.30pm

Does this sound like you?

• Retail Star - customer service & POS experience
• Timber & hardware knowledge or previous trade experience preferred
• Current Fork Lift Licence (not essential)
• Comfortable with technology - computer literacy is a must
• The ability to multi-task and work independently as well as part of a team
• Motivated - A desire to challenge yourself and show initiative in your work
• Physically fit as the role can be physically demanding
• Reliable - Reliability is an integral part of the role
