About the Trade Marks Team at FB Rice
We are a top-tier, great team of dedicated individuals who support each other to foster confidence, flexibility, enthusiasm and a ‘can do’ attitude. We now have a permanent full-time, Trade Marks attorney / lawyer role in Sydney or Melbourne.
Your New Role
This role will involve:
- assisting clients in all aspects of local and international Trade Marks matters, including prosecution, enforcement oppositions and litigation support;
- providing strategic advice for protection of Trade Marks in Australia and New Zealand as well as internationally;
- working with our local and international clients and global associate network for filing Australian, New Zealand and international Trade Mark applications
- client portfolio management;
- assisting clients in related areas of intellectual property law, including in relation to domain names and copyright; and
- working closely with the Trade Marks team with its business development and marketing activities.
About You
You are an experienced and professional Trade Marks attorney and, or lawyer who has had exposure to professional life, preferably in a top-tier, specialist IP or law firm. You are able to work independently with a high degree of oral and written presentation skills. Your experience has provided you with exceptional attention to detail, organisational and time management skills. Your friendliness, flexibility and capability to use your own initiative will enable you to work with and contribute to a great team.
