Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Branch Supervisor, the Trade Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting our Trades Team with the completion of general or reactive maintenance across contract’s facilities.
Duties include supporting:
Completion of any general maintenance and installation of cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings
Installation, repair and general maintenance of pipes, valves, fittings and drainage systems
Installation, repair and general maintenance of lighting fixtures, switches and switchboards, including general roughing in/out
Use hand tools, machines, or power saws as required
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment
Additionally, you will possess:
Experiencer working on major commercial or industrial works (desirable), including exposure to Carpentry, Electrical and Plumbing related work tasks
Construction White Card (mandatory)
HRWL (LF) License (desirable)
VALID C Class
Australian Working Rights
Ability to pass comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
First Aid training and Trade based competencies (desirable)
