About the Role
As a valued member of the workshop team, your role as a Trades Assistant will be to provide support to the mechanical technicians. Your duties will include the removal/install of small and large engine componentry, rebuilding of rotatable components, general workshop duties, cleaning and preparation for QA inspections.
About the opportunity:
- Experience working on mechanical equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and general interest in working on large equipment.
- Ability to plan and prioritise your daily workload requirements and work within tight timeframes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivation to achieve daily expectations.
About you
- Demonstrated high regard for safety
- Current manual Driver's Licence
- Forklift ticket (highly regarded)
- Doggers ticket (highly regarded)
- Strong work ethic and a positive team focused attitude with the ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
