We are at an exciting growth phase in our business and have an exciting opportunity for a trade assistant to join our fabrication team to manufacture our heritage branded “Ultrahawke” and “Accurweigh” weighbridges. Ultrahawke is Australia’s oldest weighbridge brand, with a trading history dating back to 1857!
We seek an experienced Trades Assistant to join our Campbellfield weighbridge fabrication team. The successful applicant will be committed to contributing to the production of weighbridges to the highest standards, and shows a commitment to safe work practices.
About the Role:
- Assist with the fabrication of weighbridge equipment (general welding and manufacturing)
- Loading and unloading of materials
- Keeping track of materials used/stock levels and notifying management
- Maintaining a clean workspace and always work safely
- Career progression (training and support provided) and annual salary reviews
About You:
- You have experience working as a Trades Assistant (1 yr. minimum)
- You are responsible, self-motivated, and possess a strong work ethic
- You are willing and able to continuously learn and have technical aptitude
- You possess the ability to work well with others in a team environment, possess a positive attitude and follow instructions
- Experience as a Fitter & Turner desirable, but not mandatory to be considered for the role
