Stornoway has an excellent opportunity for several Traffic Controllers to join our Traffic Management crew in our Northern and North-Western divisions on a casual basis. The role will undertake traffic management and other activities as required.
As a Tasmanian industry leader, Stornoway prides itself on its ability to train, develop, upskill and foster an environment that embraces a diverse workforce. In order to be considered for this position, applicants will need to hold the below licenses and or experience in the abovementioned tasks:
- Traffic Management ticket
- General Safety Induction White Card
- A current Australian Driver’s (C) Class Licence
- Rights to Work in Australia
- The ability to work away from home as needed
Desirable criteria include:
- Competent with Smart phones, tablets, and Information systems
- Relevant other tickets such as First Aid/CPR
- Medium Rigid (MR) Licence
- Previous experience managing traffic, particularly around roadworks, emergency defects, and high-volume and/or high-speed traffic areas
