About the role: 

We are currently working on multiple major projects, new and existing, throughout Melbourne's Northern & Western suburbs. We are looking for reliable and self motivated Traffic Controllers to join our team and grow with our business. With a strong pipeline of work, now is the time to jump onboard and be rewarded with consistent shifts, progression opportunities and to be the benchmark in the industry.

Duties: 

Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works or events

• Use of Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic
• Implement and monitor operational traffic management plans
• Complete vehicle pre-start checks
• Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
• Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site
• Report on site hazards and near misses
• Monitor traffic behaviour and or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times
• Obey instructions from team leaders, foremen, or inspectors and auditors
• Control traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to protect maintenance workers, work crews and members of the public 

Skills & Experience:

• VictorianTraffic Control Accreditation (stop/slow & implement traffic plans) - essential
• OHS Card - essential
• Driver licence and own car to get to work - essential
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends
• People who can work individually and in teams
• Safety focused people with excellent communication skills
