Job Summary:
We are seeking a Trainee Automotive Glazier to join our team at Action Autoglass in Burnie, Tasmania. As a Trainee Automotive Glazier, you will work under the guidance of the Workshop Manager and be responsible for repairing and replacing glass on various motor vehicles to Australian Standards. This role also involves recalibration of ADAS cameras on vehicles, replacing flat laminated glass on heavy machinery, and conducting on-site work at different locations on the North West Coast, West Coast, and Circular Head. We are looking for someone who is customer-focused, reliable, positive-minded, and eager to learn.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Valid driver's license
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Automotive knowledge (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Repairing and replacing glass on all types of motor vehicles according to Australian Standards
- Recalibrating ADAS cameras on vehicles
- Replacing flat laminated glass on heavy machinery
- Conducting onsite work at various locations within Tasmania
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
No specific qualifications required as full on the job training will be provided; however, candidates with prior automotive experience will be preferred.
