The role

We’re seeking a down-to-earth, hard-working individual to join us and develop their career as we continue to develop Roc-Drill. 

You’ll be entrusted with ensuring high-quality work, whilst never wavering on our safety commitment. This role offers;

• Fulltime fixed term role as a Trainee Blast Hole Driller
• 7 days on 7 days off Roster from Ravenswood, Townsville, Charters Towers or surrounding areas.

To be considered applicants must have;

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug screen and National police clearance
• Hold a current open C Class license
• Previous experience in Heavy industry – Civil Plant Operators, Quarry Operators, Council and Armed forces. 
• Prior work history in Drilling operations on a mine site and or operational experience on a mine site highly regarded but not essential.
• Be self-motivated with the ability to work safely.
• Live local to Ravenswood, Townsville, Charters Towers or surrounding areas

PLEASE NOTE: This is a residential role to Townsville. Camp and mess provided whilst on roster at the Ravenswood camp.
