Trainee Coxswain

We are looking for a trainee into the Maritime industry. Our company specialises in Marine Salvage and the service and maintenance of Navigation Aids. Job is physically demanding, and hours can vary. The position advertised is for Monday-Friday work however there will be the requirement to work some nights/ weekends and quite often this will be at short notice due to the nature of our work.

Trainee Coxswain position would suit motivated and practical school leaver. Experience on boats and passion for maritime industry a must. 

Wages will range from $15 - $30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

• Boat license required.
• Manual driver’s license required and own transport.
• Previous boating/ diving experience a bonus.
• Ability to obtain Coxswain Grade 1. To be eligible for a Coxswain grade 1 near coastal certificate you must- Meet medical, eyesight, sea service and course requirements.
