About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a career in banking by undertaking a Traineeship as a Customer Service Officer.
You will be given the training you need to do what you do best – help customers with transactions, educate them on our online platforms and tools, recommend the bank’s products and services to help them achieve their financial goals.
This position is located at Community Bank Aldinga Beach. We will support you to achieve a Certificate III in Business.
This is undertaken as paid on-the-job training within work hours and in conjunction with a Registered Training Organisation. In return you’ll receive a 12 month full time contract, with salary paid based on the National Training Award.
Potential for this to turn into permanent work after the 12 months, and follow in the footsteps of many of our former trainees who are now qualified banking staff who have developed meaningful careers across our branches!

The Fleurieu has an abundance of local shops, schools, public transport, and is a flourishing community with opportunity for all. Our Fleurieu team has four branches at Aldinga Beach, Willunga, Victor Harbor and Goolwa and a presence on the Main Street of McLaren Vale.
About you
You:
- Can quickly learn new systems and processes
- Confidently talk to customers face to face and over the telephone
- Are eager to learn and share with others what makes our bank different
- Hold a strong desire to find solutions that truly meet customer needs
- Have experience in the Customer Service - this is a plus but certainly not essential, we understand that you may be starting out in your professional career
