Santa Sophia Catholic College, a co- educational institution from Preschool to Year 12, is offering an exciting opportunity for a full time Trainee Educator. In this role, you'll be part of a supportive environment, developing essential skills to be a guiding presence in children's lives.

The trainee program, spanning 12 months, provides on the job experience while completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering the Reggio-inspired, play-based/enquiry-based curriculum.
• Support the educational and emotional needs of children in Preschool 
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Contribute to developing and implementing engaging learning experiences.
• Participate in professional development and ongoing training.

Requirements:

• Passion for working with children and commitment to their growth.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
• Ability to work effectively within a team, following the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
