About the Role
You will assist and support the Early Childhood Teacher and Educators deliver a high-quality preschool program, supporting children at risk of disadvantage or isolation to access high quality early childhood education and care. You will:
- Assist in providing quality preschool programs for children 3-6 years, who are at risk of disadvantage or isolation.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with families, key government agencies, family support agencies, host schools and early childhood agencies in order to support the program.
- Support the delivery of programs for children that are best practice, relevant and responsive to the complex needs of the children.
About You
You will be motivated and will thrive working as part of a caring and dynamic team. This role will be ideal for you if you are passionate about assisting to provide high quality early childhood education and care within your community. To be successful in this role you will be able to satisfy the following selection criteria.
Selection Criteria:
- A caring attitude and a passion for working in the Early Childhood industry.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Willingness to successfully complete Certificate III in Child Studies.
- Completion of Year 12 (desirable).
Other Requirements:
- Undertake and pass a national criminal check.
- Undertake and pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening).
- Undertake and pass a NSW working with children check.
