Trainee’s will complete a Certificate I in Work Skills and a First Aid Certificate whilst gaining experience in the community services and youth work sectors of The Salvation Army and other local agencies. Trainees will be provided with hands on experience at the Cairns Corps, and accredited training, through a traineeship and aligned with individual vocational goals.You will successfully
Achieve a Certificate I in Workplace Skills through external RTO – Axiom CollegeAchieve a first aid certificate
Complete inductions, online and in-person training
Language, numeracy, and literacy support
Support the Cairns Corps community services work
Will receive tailored support during and post traineeship to be job ready and identify future work opportunities
