About YouthCARE
YouthCARE is one of Western Australia's largest not-for-profit organisations. We aim to create positive school communities, where students are empowered and encouraged to be the best they can be. Each year YouthCARE Chaplains help thousands of students, staff and family members in Western Australian public-school communities by providing an essential social, emotional and mental health support service.
The trainee will report to the Head of Training, Innovation, Partnerships and Programs and will receive support to fulfil the requirements of their Traineeship course, including days to attend TAFE and practical learning experiences to ensure they are able to perform the role. The Trainee will be guided by their supervisor to complete the following:
Certificate III in Business Traineeship:
- Provide exceptional customer service when handling enquiries over the phone and in person so individuals have a positive experience with the organisation.
- Tasks involved with receptionist role such as answering the incoming phone calls, organising mail, assisting with providing hospitality to visitors to the office.
- Tasks involved with the Training Department such as answering email, saving and printing certificates and handouts, assisting with set up of the training room.
- Other opportunities will be provided within YouthCARE's other departments to develop skills as required in the Certificate III in Business.
Essential Criteria
- Only Australia Citizens or Permanent Residents should apply.
