About the Job:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our team at the Gove Mine Site. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment services to our employees in accordance with industry standards and company policies. This role will involve facilitating training sessions, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
 
Role Details:
 
Position:Trainer and Assessor
Location:Gove Mine Site, Northern Territory
Employment Type: Full-time
Roster: 7 days on 7 days off 
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $50 - 55 per hour
Required Certification: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40116 or equivalent)
 
Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training programs for employees, focusing on safety procedures, equipment operation, and job-specific skills.
• Conduct competency assessments and provide feedback to employees to support their development.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities and assessment results.
• Collaborate with site management and safety teams to identify training needs and implement improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Ideal Candidate:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40116 or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to promoting a culture of safety.
• Flexibility to work on a 7 days on 7 days off roster.
